Pricing, published
One flat monthly rate per engineer. No recruiting fee, no placement fee, no percentage of salary, no annual minimum. The comparison column is a U.S. hire’s loaded cost — base salary plus 25% for payroll tax and benefits — because comparing against base salary alone would flatter us unfairly.

The time zone, in one picture
This is the whole argument. A team on U.S. Eastern time, an engineer in Brazil, and an engineer in India — all three on ordinary local working hours, nobody asked to change anything.
Every zone, in numbers
Brazil dropped daylight saving in 2019 and sits at UTC−3 all year, so the gap moves only when the U.S. changes clocks. The third column is what you get by default. The fourth is what you get if the engineer agrees to work later — which is a favour to ask, not a feature to assume.
| Your time zone | Brazil is ahead by | Overlap on normal hours 9 AM – 6 PM in Brazil | Overlap if they shift |
|---|---|---|---|
| U.S. Eastern | 1–2 hours | 7–8 hours | 8 hours
10 AM – 7 PM in Brazil |
| U.S. Central | 2–3 hours | 6–7 hours | 8 hours
11 AM – 8 PM in Brazil |
| U.S. Mountain | 3–4 hours | 5–6 hours | 7–8 hours
11 AM – 8 PM in Brazil |
| U.S. Pacific | 4–5 hours | 4–5 hours | 6–7 hours
11 AM – 8 PM in Brazil |
Read the third column, not the fourth. On ordinary hours a Pacific-time team shares 4–5 hours, not a full day. Getting to 6–7 means the engineer works until 8 PM their time — which is a real thing to ask of someone, so it should be a decision you make on purpose rather than a number we quote you. Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to hire a Brazilian developer?
Through HireBrazilDevs, $3,500 per month for a mid-level engineer, $4,900 for a senior and $6,400 for a tech lead — full time, dedicated, billed monthly. There is no recruiting fee and no minimum term beyond 30 days notice.
What is the time difference between Brazil and the United States?
Brazil’s business time zone is UTC−3 and does not observe daylight saving. São Paulo is one hour ahead of New York in U.S. summer and two hours ahead in U.S. winter, and four to five hours ahead of Los Angeles.
Do I need a legal entity in Brazil?
No. The engineers are contracted by HireBrazilDevs, and you receive a single monthly invoice for services, the same as from any other vendor. No Brazilian entity, no payroll, no benefits administration.
How fast can you present candidates?
Five business days for common stacks — React, Node, Python, Java, .NET, mobile. Ten to fifteen for scarcer ones such as Go, Elixir or specialized machine learning. We tell you which category your role is in on the first call.
What happens if the engineer is not a good fit?
Tell us within the first 30 days and we replace them, and you are not billed for the overlap. After that, standard 30 days notice applies in both directions.
Do the engineers work only for us?
Yes. Every engineer is full time and dedicated to one client. We do not split people across accounts, which is the practice that makes a "dedicated team" quietly stop being dedicated.
Tell us the role. We come back with candidates.
A 20-minute call to scope the role, then vetted profiles within five business days. No fee to talk, no retainer, no exclusivity.
